Holidays

In the middle of the holidays the was the national New Zealand purge, Tyler, richard and I tookover Paknsave and made a hideout there. I took the toilet paper isle to make a fort, the lollie isle to snack on food the whole time and I also took the drinks isle. We made a rule that was if you tresspassed into somebodys isle the person who owns that isle can take the other persons isle but if you cant catch them then you cant take the isle. At the start it was all good but throughout the purge there was people trying to sneak into paknsave and steal our food. At one point there was an intruderthat we had to sort out because he was constantly stealing our food without us knowing so lets just say it didn't end up pretty for him. Unfortunatly our place got taken over by a group of guys but we were lucky that they didnt kill us.

Nachos

 A few weeks ago we made some nachos, but instead of using mince and that we had to use beans and it was basically a vegetarian meal. We started off by getting the ingrediants, then we had to chop up all the onions and tomato into small pieces. These are the ingrediants:

Corn chips

Beans

Carrot

Cheese

Tomato Paste

Tomato

Onion

We then put everything into a pan that was already heated and set up the corn chips in a bowl. As soon as I took the first bite I knew that I didnt like it because it lacked flavor. Some things that I think we should have added were nacho flavouring and mince instead of beans, if we had these I think I would have liked it alot more.

Film Study 30-35 Sec Film

 In film study we have been trying to make a 30 second film, the theme for our film is horror but there is also a bit of comedy in it with the music in the background. The rules for the film were that you can't talk, have subtitles and it has to be between 30 to 35 seconds long. Our video just managed to get to 34 seconds because richard edited it.  The story of our movie is at the start richard is playing on the playground, then ibrahim starts to bully richard and chase him around the school, in the end tyler drags and kills them in a bush.

Spaghetti Bolognese

On Tuesday in home ecoonomics we made some spaghetti bolognese, the ingrediants that we used was:

Mince, pasta, cheese, onion, mushroom, tomato sauce and carrot. 

This is what they looked like, I don't know if I would make them again because I personally think that they didn't taste that well. Overall I would give it a 7.5/10 

Creative Tech Metal

For the past weeks in metal class we have been making dog tags with wood, plastic and were going to make some with metal now. This is what there supposed to look like but they don't quite look like that because they dont have that much lettering on them. We can't send them into the laser cutter from our chromebooks so we have use the computers in the digital tech room to send them into the laser cutter. In the end they turned out really good and I look foward to making the metal one.

Stir Fry

On Tuesday we made some stir fry here is the ingrediants and a photo that looks close to the actual thing.

1.Chicken

5.Honey, Sweet chilli sauce and seaseme oil

6.2 Minute noodles

The stir fry ended up tasting really good and I would like to make it again.
